I managed to fit this little epistolary novel into my day. It felt like such a little time capsule into the past, when corresponding via letters was common. It's amazing how these people made such an impression on each other and it all began when Helene wrote to the bookstore at 84, Charing Cross Road inquiring about books. This did my little #LitsyLove heart some good, seeing people connecting via letters.

84, Charing Cross Road | Helen Hanff

I finished this one around 4am this morning. My life is just chaos right now. Went to bed at 5am and woke up 9am. My hair is falling out in large clumps... telogen effluvium. Got to love stress. 🥴

It's amazing to me how much as changed over the years. It's books like this that make me wish time travel were a real thing. Just to experience some of life's pleasures in the simplest form.

ChaoticMissAdventures Insomnia is so hard! I am there with you, usually though fall asleep around midnight sleep for an hour then wide awake until 5 and back up at 7. It is frustrating. 3y

aperfectmjk @ChaoticMissAdventures that's pretty much what happened. Slept for an hour, then right back up. This unfortunately was not by choice, I was awoken, otherwise, I probably would have slept through the night... maybe. 3y
