Time for the bookish discussion question of the day 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻! Here it is: In the US, we are currently celebrating #NationalLibraryWeek and #NationalLibraryWorkersDay. If you had the authority, what other bookish-related National Day/Week would you create? #BookTalk

Moray_Reads National Give Your Librarian Cake Day? And I think this one already exists but I love it National Gift a Book Day 8y
OSChamberlain National Pennybook day, when all books no matter genre, age, or condition, are sold at a penny. We need to fight for #NationalPennyBookDay 8y
HeatherBookNerd I'd declare a Day of Complete Silence for Reading. 8y

julesG @HeatherBookNerd Good idea! 8y
Jbakesmcgee3 A Labor Day where everyone is required to go home and read 😂 8y
tracyrowanreads Free book day. You get a book and you get a book... Followed by Read your free book day. 8y
sherryvdh Some kind of Author/Writer appreciation day. Without the people to write the books, we would all be book-less. Also, not everyone has the talent to craft a really engrossing story, and that should be more widely acknowledged. 8y
Lmstraubie Instead of D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) time on April 12th I would have D.E.A.R. Day where everyone spent the day reading, sharing & discussing books in honor of Beverly Clearly. 8y
CrowCAH Pirate week, not just Talk Like A Pirate Day, September 19. And a whole Jane Austen month! 8y
