I'm in my #happyplace enjoying some genuine quiet time. As in, not only am I the only one up, but, the quiet up here is truly quiet. There is NO noise. Heavenly.

I'm #onmountaintime for a few more hours. 😍
This was surprisingly deep for a book marketed as a thriller- which feels inaccurate. David has a one-night stand & when he wakes up, the guy in his bed is dead. Fearing he'll be blamed for the death, he calls his literary agent & they decide to take the body back to the hotel room where they originally met. But when he gets there, the guy's husband catches him in the room! (No, David didn't know he

bookandbedandtea was married.) The death is ruled a stroke but the husband wants answers and begins a cat and mouse game with David, who is struggling with questions of his identity due to his estrangement from his family, his failing literary career, and a failed romance. Some of that bogged down the middle of the book but the beginning and end were pretty strong. 5mo
