I‘m curious as to what my paperwhite littens think about their paperwhite. I‘ve currently got the Voyager, which I‘ve had since it came out, and I absolutely love it!! I‘m hesitant to upgrade but I need the extra space that the paperwhite offers. (Not to mention it‘s WATERPROOF!) If y‘all could help a girl decide if she wants to upgrade, I‘d very much appreciate it! #Kindle #PaperwhiteVsVoyager #HELP
jillrhudy My Paperwhite is six years old and still does the job for me but I don‘t have a massive number of books on it. I spent $79 on the one with the backlight which is probably the equivalent of an ordinary Kindle now. 4y
Literary_Siren @jillrhudy yeah I‘m debating on the new paperwhite. I wish they would have continued to make the voyager. That would make it a super easy decision. 4y
TiredLibrarian I have a Paperwhite that I got for Christmas 2 yrs. ago. I'm pretty happy with it. The biggest issue I have is that there's a bit of uneven, wavy-looking lighting toward the bottom of the screen. It's not a big deal, but it gets annoying during long reads or in darker rooms. Two features I would LOVE to see are a dark mode (I sometimes read from my phone just for that), and a blue light filter so there's a warmer light for evening & night reading. 4y

KathyWheeler I love my Paperwhite— it‘s a year or so old. I just got the Oasis but I‘m keeping my Paperwhite too. 4y
bunny I just bought a new Paperwhite after having at Voyage for years. I like it a lot, though I do sometimes miss the buttons since the touch screen can be a little finicky and slow to respond. Overall I'm pretty happy with it though! 4y
ljuliel I had a PW , but traded it on an Oasis. The new PWs are great, but I went with the Oasis for the warm light. A bit easier on the eyes. Both are great though ! Good luck with your decision. 4y
eanderson Just bought this when they had it on a nice deal. I love the Paperwhites. This one is my 3rd one. I never experienced they Voyage so I can‘t compare. I love this one. Only complaint is the pages can turn very easily with the sensitive touch screen but it‘s not a deal breaker for me. I had the same problem with my other Paperwhites. 4y
TheSpineView I had a Paperwhite and upgraded to an Oasis. I love it and it has navigation buttons. I like that you are stuck with just a swipe. 4y
Crazeedi I love my paperwhite, but I wish I could get the newer one, has audio and waterproof, it's an excellent price right now. I got mine and just a couple weeks later they did the newer one! 4y

ljuliel @TiredLibrarian I really like the warm light. You can set it as you want, plus it has the automatic light sensor doohickey so it‘ll change the light for you when you‘re in a darker or brighter location. I turned that off , as I like it being on the same setting all the time. I also think the page turn buttons are super handy. One handed reading, plus you can switch hands and it automatically flips the screen for you so it‘ll work in either hand. 4y
Derf I upgraded from an old Paperwhite to the Oasis, and I wish I just bought the latest paperwhite. It‘s the best kindle going I think 👍🏻 4y
