Slow. I found it hard to connect with. I didn‘t know 80% of the people that were name dropped (and there were A TON), but being that this took place almost 60 years ago, it‘s not surprising. Just not my style! (36)

TheBookHippie We were just having this discussion yesterday. I loved this book, however I was alive then enthralled with everything mentioned- as a kid and teen -but to those not in it, I didn‘t think it would hit the same. I‘m so glad you wrote an honest review. 1y
