Well dang. From the cover and size, I was expecting a graphic novel. It does have pictures and visual ephemera but is mostly of the “take a public domain work and add something weird to it“ subgenre and that's just not my thing. Seeing Austen's actual words mixed up with new ones bugs me.

Thank you #permberlittens for the read-a-long. It was a clever idea, but I found the overall pace very slow. An intriguing ending that I think was the right one, some of the choices made by the characters did have me sighing in frustration.

Also, I keep comparing Rachel to Irene from The Invisible Library series. Unfavourably.
