A fun collection. Isn't Hastings sick of Poirot by now? He's really horrible to him. Book 4 of 5 for my goal!

Lastly, Bk3 of today‘s #BookHaul is another Special Edition Dame Agatha. I‘m really hoping they release all her catalogue in these issues, I‘m loving them. The red foiling is fabulous! Poirot is called in to investigate after the cantankerous patriarch of a wealthy family is found murdered inside his locked bedroom on Xmas Eve. Finding no shortage of suspects in the mans family, Poirot has his work cut out for him finding the guilty party.

I'm so sorry, everyone - I've had the worst time since I got back from vacation, with the biggest work project I've had so far, along with a cold. I hate when you are so stressed out that something that takes ten minutes is too much to ask. Anyway, here's the schedule! #agathachristieclubR2

Couldn‘t get into it! After Father Brown and Sherlock, just couldn‘t do a Poirot short story. Trying a Christie novel next.

Does this happen to anyone else when they use Hoopla? It says run time 5hrs & 45 mins. But then it exceeds over an hour! I kept listening because I thought it was almost done! This isn‘t the first time this has happened to me.

Anyway, some good short stories of Poirot‘s adventures. Definitely like the full length stories better. These are too short and a little unbelievable that Poirot‘s solves them so quickly.

One cannot be interested in crime without being interested in psychology. It is not the mere act of killing, it is what lies behind it that appeals to the expert.

Gotta be honest, I only really read this because a rewatch of Doctor Who drew my attention to never having read them

Scochrane26 I just started reading Christie when the latest Murder in the Orient Express movie was coming out. Some of hers are better than others. 6d
Mandigolightly @Scochrane26 it‘d almost have to be, with the sheer volume of them! 6d
