pickThis was another collection of Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple short stories with a somewhat Christmassy background. I liked it because it was entertaining, but it seems like compilation mas mday the audiobook company because I couldn‘t find it as book.
pickThis was a reread for me! I remembered who the killer was but not all of the other drama. It was still a good mystery!

pickThis is a fun little Poirot short (the actual book includes several other short stories, but they aren't particularly Christmasy, so I only read the title story this time around). Poirot reluctantly heads off to a country estate for an “old-fashioned Christmas“ - and a bit of undercover sleuthing. Poirot is very Poiroty in this one, and I quite enjoyed rereading it.

2. I love winter mysteries usually at big estates, for some reason... like the short story I tagged with good ol' Hercule Poirot.

so-soI like the girls school setting of this novel, but I think it would be more interesting without the political intrigue. Poirot also feels like a gratuitous addition here.

Audiocooking while trying to help Poirot figure out whodunnit. After dinner, the second of four concerts this week. December is a busy month when you have musicians in the family.
Given the on-going Canada Post strike I have had the #jolabokaflodswap package sent directly via Amazon to my match. Takes away some of the fun, but they are on their way! (And should be in gift bags.) Christmas baking prep picture for interest.
