pickThis is a love letter to rare books and the people who sell them. This is a wonderful collection of tales from the author‘s time working at a rare bookshop. The book is quite humorous and wonderful to read. It‘s a quick read. I was actually a bit sad when it ended. I‘m sure there are plenty of takes he still has to tell, and I would love to hear them.

Listened to this as I ran errands today. I was worried I was losing interest in Sedaris‘s writing lately— I bailed on a couple of his early books last year; I just didn‘t find them funny anymore— but I‘m really enjoying the slightly more serious tone in this. #audiobook #readbytheauthor
