Thank you so much Sue for this wonderful surprise in the mail! ♥️♥️ This sounds right up my alley and I‘m looking forward to reading it.
I‘m so grateful my public library has the Palace app now so I can listen to Audible exclusives without having to give money to Bezos 🙌
Sometimes you really need a self-help book to remind you that you have power over your own life—and no control over others. A fatphobic, diet culture heavy chapter didn‘t work for me, but the rest was really helpful as I‘ve been working through how to move with integrity and wisdom through a hard chapter in life.
A bittersweet account of one manchild dealing with a breakup he didn‘t want and didn‘t see coming.
A mother, her two daughters, and an ex-husband of one of the daughters are struggling: one coping with an end of life issue and the others dealing with an infidelity and a reckoning. I appreciated the writing and, honestly, I related strongly with all the characters. There should have been a ‘bad guy‘ but I found myself able to empathize with all of them. Not sure who decided this cover though. Thanks to @Jeg and @Centique for the recommendation.
A phenomenal book about relieving yourself of everyone else‘s problems while empowering you to take control of your own life.
I had to DNF. There were a couple of things early on that gave me pause, but I kept going. Then we arrived at the "our society is divided and mean because we stopped teaching morality in schools" and I knew this wasn't for me.
