I tried reading this when I was 8 years old. Now as an adult I'm hoping I understand it better. Just two paragraphs in and it already feels so much more relatable!

Finished my oldest #netgalley ARC! I was worried when I realized this was actually a later title in a series but while reading it, i realized that each book is set in the same world but follows diff couples. A cute read but I felt it focused too much on things like family and children, though I loved the pushback on traditional gender roles. Some of the magic was also interesting and I was really curious about learning more. Typical romance tropes

I never really understand these location markers for kindle titles 😂 but this is another of my #netgalley titles I started a few days ago. Didn't get very far but def plan to finish. This is my oldest #AugustArc title 😱 it's only the first chapter but there are many convenient things happening #lgbtq #gay #queer @Clwojick

Clwojick Agreed! Why can‘t it just say page 1/358 etc. 2y

This book was a #struggle for me to get through.

It‘s one of those books where I‘m enjoying it while reading it, not quite captivated but interested enough, but when I put it down I don‘t really want to pick it back up again and I can‘t figure out why 🤷‍♀️

I have 63 pages left and we‘re getting through this right now come hell or high water!

marleed Oh dang, I really liked it. It‘s always interesting to read opposing opinions! 4y
BooksMcD I just finished it and overall I enjoyed it. The last 63 pages, including the author‘s note about how much was true, helped a lot. Endings are big for me. I liked the neat end of the fictional story but also I‘m glad so many bits were true. I occasionally thought I‘d enjoy a non-fiction account of women WWI spies or a limited tv series of this story more. I liked this book and still recommend people read it, but it‘s not my personal fave. 4y
