We‘ve been without a washing machine for 3 weeks (it broke the day before we went on vacation). Bought a fancier new washer and dryer, so this is my afternoon reading before putting my first load in! 😂😂
Loving that I can control functions from an app now. 😃
1. I can say “no thanks“ anytime I want. I don't have to go to every birthday party, wedding, or special event if I don't want to.
2. Doing the dishes
3. Being a kid, being with friends everyday, having fun, enjoying the moment.
4. I worked at a retirement community for military officers. I stayed there for 8 years and loved it!
5. Life isn't always easy. and you have to work hard for the things that mean the most.
1️⃣ The right and ability of not giving a fuck.
2️⃣ Dealing with increasingly cognitively challenged parents
3️⃣ Not much, tbh. My childhood wasn't particularly happy.
4️⃣ Depending on how you define adult, museum docent or research assistant.
5️⃣ No one cares what you eat in your own house or anywhere (i.e. the opposite of what my mother thinks)

I just filed our first federal —and joint— taxes ever! Thank heaven for Turbo Tax! (In Puerto Rico we only have to file state income taxes, unless your income is from federal sources; in Florida, you only file federal income taxes 🤷🏻♀️) #Adulting
