🐥This picture book is a compilation of affirmations on why teachers are great and why that should always be celebrated. This one is dedicated to the young teacher candidates out there. I wish I would've read this book back in K3 so that I could give it to all my teachers.

AndreaEfres LAFS.1.L.1.1 Conventions of Standard English. Even on picture books strategies for understanding punctuation are necessary for English language comprehension. This standard is great for having students focus on the written and oral language in a book.

UDL (6.1) Guide appropriate goal-setting. When students are given a goal project, in this case writing and reading a book to their teacher develop skills for becoming a long time learner.

I heard “rumors” these signs were put up all over town but I did not get out in my car all week until today. Toured the town. These signs were everywhere. I am grateful for the parents & admin who did this for us.
