#Two4Tusday @TheSpineView

1. I suppose l should say The Two Towers, which is one of my all times favourite books. But since there is no competition there, l'll say The Faceless Killers, which l've just finished.

2. I posted it a few days ago, from Tolkien's The Two Towers: "The Men of the Mark do not lie, and therefore they are not easily deceived." From my boy Eomer.

TheSpineView Loved rereading The Two Towers! Thanks for playing! 😊 4y

1. For me the characters are paramount. I want them real and flawed, but also with an aspiration to tedemption. I also want a plot which pieces fall into place like a puzzle. And an expotition that leaves space to my intuition.
2. I don't often reread. I find that my perception of a book changes over time. Sometimes l appreciated more on reread, sometimes less.

TheSpineView Thanks for playing! Happy Tuesday! 4y

1. I adore reading challenges. I'm not always good at them, especially long once, but l'm always willing to try.

2. I'm planning on taking part in #ReadingEurope2020 and #Booked2020 because l think l can overlap them.

Cathythoughts I‘m def doing #booked2020 for the 2d year 🥳. I‘m down for another 2 .... I‘ll try 😬 4y

1. Yes. A lot. I'm still a fantasy and mystery reader as l've always been, but l'm more choosy in my reads. And l'm unforgiving with books l don't like (l used to force me to finish every book). I read non-fiction, with l didn't use too and l'm more open to different genres.

2. I'm reading The Hobbit and l can't decide between Bilbo, Gandalf and Thorin.

Sharpeipup Completely agree with being unforgiving now...too many books to waste my time suffering through one. 4y
TheSpineView @Sharpeipup I agree with you both. Life is too short to waste. 😊 4y
JazzFeathers @Sharpeipup @TheSpineView l used to feel bad not finishng a book. Now l feel bad wasting my time with a book l don't like while missing out on books l might like. 4y

1. I speak English (my first language is Italian) and l can get my way around German (trying to get better at it. I love German). I understand a bit of Spanish because it's very similar to my dialect.
2. I don't travel all that much, but there are languages l'd like to learn. One is Irish (always loved its sound) and another is Lakota (learned a few words/expressions for a writing project and fell in love with it)

Cathythoughts I don‘t think I‘ve ever heard Lakota .... I must investigate 👍🏻♥️ 5y
Chrissyreadit Lakota ❤️❤️❤️❤️I love that Pine Ridge has a College on the Rez and Lakota is the primary language spoken there. 5y
TheSpineView I am glad to know that Naive American languages are not being lots 5y

@TheSpineView

1. I do listen to audiobook, but never when l walk. Too dangerous in the city.

2. I know Little Free Libraries exist here in Italy too (though are not very common), but l've never seen one.
