Dear Littens
All are welcome to join in this novella/novelette numbers challenge. Each book must be less than 200 pages. Read the set books or pick your own. Review, tag @cuilin #funsizefiction. The goal is to balance out our chunkster novels with great mini reads from multi genres. Please share. Thank you. ❤️
Here are my book challenges for 2023. I know I didn‘t complete last year‘s but I just can‘t resist.
1 - For the first time in a least 10 years, I‘m not sitting a total goal.
2- 4 - Are challenges I always enjoy and try to complete
5. Is new. I‘m going to focus on certain series where I just a have a few to catch-up or finish.
6. Is my personal challenge as I‘m trying to read all of Stephen King‘s work eventually.
7. 12 books recommended ⬇️
And….I did it. I met my Goodreads challenge. Wasn‘t sure I would. 🤣

Why do I enjoy challenges? Let me tell ya. To learn. I didn't know about the Bechdel test. Thank goodness for #PopSugar20, I now know.
To pass a Bechdel test, a book has to have 2 named female characters who have a conversation about anything, except about a man. Am I the only one who never heard of it?
And I think I found one.

Updated my challenges for this year (to date), and this is where I‘m at!
It‘s doable, I think, maybe.....luckily there is some overlap with a few picks because I‘m trying to pick books from my TBR pile to fill categories in the other lists.😬
But if I really want to get there, I‘m going to have to get more serious and follow less shiny new reading distractions... that‘s going to be a tough one.
Wish me luck when I stop by the library later. 🤭

Keeping the book count low right now because school is starting and I am teaching in a new district and grade this year so don't know how overwhelming it will be yet. I got three pictured graphic novels for lighter reading to start off with.

After seeing so many people post about their Goodreads challenge towards the end of 2018, I have created my own account and am taking it on for 2019!
I have never tracked my reading before and have no idea how many books I will read in a year so it might change throughout the year 😊
I have started numerous series and read only 1 or 2 books. Here is the list of series I would like to finish or at least read further into. This will by the hardest because so many great new books will come out in 2019. If you are joining me for this challenge be sure to tag me in your review and use #SeriesRead. I will do a giveaway at the end of each quarter as motivation.
