“POLLUTION: Pollution is when something harmful gets into the environment and hurts animals, plants, and people.“
This book's pages are a few different infographics put together, which is helpful for a science-based book. It goes over topics like waste, pollution, Earth's resources, Earth's atmosphere, deforestation, and conservation. A relevant book.
“You can swap environmentally friendly or reusable materials for every type of disposable plastic.“
This is a perfect book for environmental studies. Specifically, I would use this book when teaching about Earth Day. Very insightful to show how much waster we produce and why it's important to take care of our Earth.
Children will love listening to this book. It great to teach about our environment and the importance of keeping our Earth clean. The book also includes very informative pictures and diagrams that children will find eye opening.
I've been reading this book for almost a month and I'm barely 100 pages in, and as my mind kept wandering while I read I realized I'd rather read something else. So much as I hate to DNF a book, I've moved on.
