I've been reading this book for almost a month and I'm barely 100 pages in, and as my mind kept wandering while I read I realized I'd rather read something else. So much as I hate to DNF a book, I've moved on.

Great kids book about garbage & the history of same!
Poop as resource.
The introduction is a bit long—it seems even the author couldn‘t escape the compulsion to justify himself… Surprisingly fascinating besides. A rare book mixing science and environmentalism with a refreshingly optimistic message.
(Also, an invaluable source of bathroom puns)

I love this book and the illustrations are amazing! It does a great job teaching children the problems about waste in our environment!

This would be a good book to use around Earth Day! I also think it would be good when talking about recycling which can be an important and fun topic to discuss with children. It could spark important discussions about how to make smart choices in order to protect our planet.
A short but informational book about how to protect our planet and different facts about trash and recycling. It is formatted in a very kid-friendly but still informational way. It shows children that they can make a difference and work to protect and clean our planet.
