A Tale for the Time Being: A Novel | Ruth Ozeki

This book peers into the lives of two characters with very different experiences. The author draws you into both stories not only because of the well written, engaging characters but Ozeki draws you into caring for these characters deeply as they each grow throughout the story. I found the story of Naoko more interesting but I believe there is something for everyone in this book that could invite them to enter into the story. #airplanereads

Wasn't expecting much out of it, but The Crossover is an excellent blend of a modern young culture and a coming of age story. Delivered in a visual poetic format, Kwame Alexander invites you into the struggles of Josh "Filthy McNasty" on and off the court. KaylaC I would have never known this book had poetry in it! It seemed like a typical basketball-boy type of book, and I was not about reading something like that! But the way you described it makes it seem like I should give it a chance. Great job! 7y

Chachic #romanceclass is a group of Indie Filipino romance authors, you can check out their titles at romanceclass.com, some of them are available on Overdrive. I have no idea how Overdrive works but apparently you can request them from your library. 7y
