If you‘re a fan of Janet Evanovitch/Stephanie Plum, you‘ll most likely enjoy this series. I think I liked this one better than the last, but I am tired of the secret keeping from Nick. pickThis series is the best — so funny with plenty of action. I love how the characters have created such a mess for themselves, but are still able to take care of the kids & family in between chase & fight scenes, negotiations, dead bodies, & a sexy cop. There are a few loose ends that will definitely send us in a new direction for the next book. I highly recommend the audio, too. The narrator is amazing! Each character‘s voice is distinct.
pickExcellent as always and this one had all the side characters front and centre. They end up neck deep in murder, bad, good and sexy cops, lovers, her mother, sister, kids and ex-husband, plus adolescents, boss bitches, many bad guys, and a little dog too! It was so full but the author still managed to make it concise. Vero and Finley‘s friendship is as brilliant as ever. Great series! I‘m excited to see what they will get up to in the next one.

pickWell, the good news is I followed this instalment MUCH better than the last one. The other good news is it‘s funny and ridiculous and entertaining. The other other good news is another body shows up at the end, setting us up for Book 5. Or… is a body supposed to be bad news? I think it‘s bad news for Finlay, good news for her fans.
