Woooo it‘s #bookerinternational2021 time! I did abysmally at getting through the list last year and want to try harder this year though I probably won‘t manage (or be able to afford) all of them. I‘ve bought the tagged book to start with and am very excited to see something translated from Georgian on the list! Anyone else trying to tackle the long list?

Emilymdxn @rockpools you‘re so right! I can‘t access a library atm as I moved house in the middle of lockdown and couldn‘t register, I‘d forgotten how expensive all the books on the long list always are 3y
rockpools @Emilymdxn I hadn‘t realised that pricey was the norm! Can you not join the library online? Quite a few are doing temporary membership where you don‘t have to go in & can use ebooks/audiobooks straight away (but very aware that London libraries seem to operate differently to others, so that might not work if that‘s where you are) 3y
