I don‘t know if this royal mystery is “solved” but this book puts together an interesting case. I am not an expert so mostly it just made me want to read The Daughter of Time by Josephine Tey again.

I‘ve really enjoyed this series but sad to say this installment was a struggle for me. I actually started it months ago and put it aside before finally finishing it on audio. The mystery is kind of convoluted, there‘s a lot of description and not much action, and after the opening chapters the great villain Moriarty doesn‘t seem all that scary. I hope the next one is better.

This was my #BookSpinDoubleSpin in February and I finally finished!

This one is definitely not something I would typically pick up. I picked it up because I really enjoyed one of Maguire‘s other works and this one did not disappoint.

This will complete my double spin for February.

This was February‘s #bookspin pick and I really thought I‘d like it more than I did.

While this pick was just ok it did get me more intrigued to pick up The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley

This was my #doublespin pick for January. I also used it for my Legacy prompt for Orilium: Gear Up.

I‘m at least intrigued enough to continue but it wasn‘t the best book I‘ve read recently.
