What Hegseth is referring to, can only truly be described as a Massacre.

The Wounded Knee Massacre on December 29, 1890 began when a bunch of 🤬🤬🤬 (U.S. Army soldiers) attacked a largely disarmed Lakota encampment in South Dakota.

“Women and children were indiscriminately slaughtered at the Wounded Knee Massacre. Estimates vary, but many sources indicate that women and children accounted for nearly half of the Lakota casualtie.“

AnnCrystal They changed “Defense“ back to “War“ and now they have (officially) begun honoring some of the genocide done right here in America 🤨🤬.

Anyhow…at the Harvard Natural History Museum in their Peabody Museum they have an exhibit that has accurate history about what happened to the Indigenous people. They practice Ethical Stewartship in Action. They are trying to provide more accurate history & working with Indigenous learn more as well as working to preserve history. 1w
