This book was fun. I love stories that jump around in time and this keeps the pace moving. Another great book from Garcia.

New listen while I hop on the treadmill and cook dinner. It‘s been way too hot to walk outside lately but a good audiobook helps make the treadmill less dull.
Last novella in the series so far. This was a really good story set while the MCs were in high school.
Miranda is writing her thesis on Beatrice Tremblay, a little known horror author whose novel was based on the disappearance of her college roommate in the 1930s. As she digs deeper, parallels arise with the stories her great-grandmother, Nana Alba, told her in Mexico. A tense, gripping tale of witchcraft and survival, told in three alternating timelines. And what a beautiful cover!
