I freaking adore Flavia. I didn‘t pick this one up as quickly as I normally would after the way the previous one ended but I was pleasantly surprised at how the story carried on. Flavia continues to delight and Bradley continues to weave the most intriguing mysteries.

Book 10 for #14books14weeks (and the last one I squeaked in during the 14 weeks!)

I‘m sad I‘m late to the Tana French party but happy I‘ve got them all stacked up for me now. This one was such a page turner, even more than In The Woods. It took me a while to get into but holy moly, I couldn‘t put it down once I got in!

Book 9 for #14books14weeks (finished Aug 18)

Avidreader25 LOVE this one!!! 3mo
janeycanuck @Avidreader25 it was SO good!!! 3mo

Didn't quite finish my #14books14weeks stack (mostly cause I got distracted with other books) but made good progress! 9 finished, 2 half done, and 3 not started.

Thanks for another fun challenge @TheHeartlandBookFairy 🙂

TheHeartlandBookFairy Congratulations! Any progress is still progress 😁 3mo
llwheeler @TheHeartlandBookFairy Thanks! You're right 🙂 3mo

Nothing like a couple of murders to help keep the spark in your marriage alive. I have many thoughts on this but they‘d all give way too much away.

And that's a wrap! My last book for #14Books14Weeks and what an amazing book it is! Thank you so much to everyone for joining me in this summer challenge 😘 I know our TBR piles will never be complete and if they were we would probably all panic lol 😂 I cleared 14 plus a couple off my TBR stack but I think I added just as many, shocking I know! 😅 So many books, so little time, and oh how summer sped by so quickly! Sigh...

I feel like I did okay with my reading in August, yet somehow, my #SeptemberTBR feels twice as large? I‘ve got five of my #14books14weeks reads that I didn‘t get to, my #GirlyBookClub book, a couple of books in-progress, a bunch of previous TBRs and I‘ve added four more books for my never-ending quest to #readmyowndamnbooks

Happy September, it's time to "fall into a good book!". This slow burning debut novel takes readers into US slavery in the 1850s and the corporate lawyer world of 2004. It‘s good. The storytelling is so rich that there were times I burned through 30 pages without realizing it. Thanks @WilliamMorrowBooks for the copy!

I can finally (!) say I completed a prompt for #Booked2019 , #NewToYouAuthor . This is also book 4 for #14Books14Weeks and probably the last for that challenge before tomorrow.

Cinfhen Woohoo 🎉 I have a different book by this author that im looking forward to reading 3mo

It‘s Labor Day weekend here, so my #14Books14Weeks is over. I didn‘t finish the stack I originally picked out, but I did get through 8 of 14, which is pretty good for me. (I‘m generally great at planning far out, but really bad at sticking to it, LOL).

I‘m going to keep working at it though and try to get the other 6 finished up yet this year, most have been languishing on my shelves way too long already.

Thanks for the challenge motivation!

TheHeartlandBookFairy Any progress is still considered progress! Congrats! 3mo

Gezemice 6 buddy reads! Lol I can‘t keep up with 2! 3mo
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @Gezemice #StarWarsBuddyRead (Solo), plus the #BBBBC (Sleeping Giants), ShakespeareBuddyRead (Merry Wives of Windsor), and PratchettPosse (Witches Abroad) which you read too. The other too were for a Litsy Postal Mark Up group I signed up for last year, and we picked to send and mark up nonfiction reads, we enjoyed it so we did it again this summer (Down Girl, and The Pun Also Rises were ones, the others in this rotation where The World Without... 3mo
Riveted_Reader_Melissa ...Us, and No Apparent Distress). I enjoyed them all for different reasons, so far it‘s always been a good eclectic mix 3mo
