pickI finished this book 2 days ago and I'm still thinking about it, about what would really happen if women could electrocute with the touch of a finger. There's so much to say about it but not enough room, so just know that it was insightful, intelligent, and cathartic - even in the more horrifying pieces. It'll def be in my top 10 this year. ⚡⚡⚡

pickI stayed up late finishing this last night, it's so brilliant. This is a collection of essays written by British POC about what it means to be POC and/or an immigrant in Britain. I can see some of it echoing problems in the US too (like the quote above.) The essays are heartfelt, funny, sad, and important.
