After you read one of his books, you'll be so impressed with the vocabulary that all other authors feel like they are writing at grade 10 level. This is my favorite series from this author. Is there anything more annoying than downloading an audiobook and realizing it‘s the abridged version?! I have the ebook but the file type must be weird because it will only open on my iPad kindle app and not my paperwhite… I was excited to be able to listen to it instead! My mom has been bugging me to read this series for years, but she‘s just going to have to wait a little longer…

pickThis one was with Angel and Louis. Love these two characters. I love this author. Every chapter is like a mini story within the big story.
pickFri night pizza, wine and Angel + Louis in their story what a perfect end to the week. I loved learning more about Louis's early life as his past crimes come back to haunt him with another great villain Bliss. Another character in the bk Willie and arno, whose relationship is characterised w great dialogue. And with an intro in which the author tells of a man who buys 10 copies for his gay book club because of angel and Louis what is not to like.
pickI love John Connelly and this series, this being number 18. This authors vocabulary is exceptional and after I have read one of his novels I feel unfulfilled with the writing of others. Most authors seem to write for grade 10 English but this one makes me stop and look at the words that I usually never see. It's fabulous. And the story line is great too. Love Angel and Louis, Parkers sidekicks.
