

One of those books you've been aware of so long, you assume you know her basic life story. Turns out I didn't, and was repeatedly surprised (& shocked, moved, angered, saddened, made to laugh, cheer...) Her writing is beautiful, listening to her reading it on audio, even more so.
I read this for my #readharder #classicbypoc category, and will definitely be working my way through the rest of her autobiographies.
