Ok, so I'm going on a bit about covers today, but seriously: Movie tie-ins. How much do we hate them. The film title is printed bigger than the book title! And the characters don't look like that! (They don't look like in the Swedish movie either, but there at least they got the girl's hair colour right and Oskar has a generic "Swedish kid in the 70s/80s" look that kinda works.) #CoverHate

Leniverse @Books_Wine_Repeat "Let Me In" is the American movie adaptation. The Swedish movie adaptation is called "Let the Right One In", just like the book. The movies are fairly similar, but the US one is more polished and the Swedish one has the right, grey and gritty Scandinavian atmosphere. 8y

Leniverse @Books_Wine_Repeat Ah! I didn't know there was an abridged version! ? We don't want abridged! Hm. I see now that there's a movie tie-in actually called Let Me In and it has "bonus content", whatever that means. But I don't think any of them are abridged. Can't swear to it though. 8y
