Pickpick

This is a fun book. It‘s a quick read. A lot of time was clearly spent putting this book together. It‘s meant for kids, but it‘s entirely engaging for an adult, too. It actually has good messages about the importance of conservation of living creatures and doing things for the right reasons (not for money or power). It had a great message of gaining knowledge is important and awesome.

GingerAntics I can definitely see reading this book with a child. The art work is gorgeous. It‘s really worth the read. This Dragon Alphabet might be my favourite part of the whole book. It‘s hard to say. I have several favourite parts. #dragonology #thecompletebookofdragons #dugaldsteer #drernestdrake #dragons 6y

Started reading this one just for fun. If you‘re a dragon lover, I‘d highly suggest this book. The artwork in it is absolutely amazing. I‘ve been reading it little by little. It‘s not a hard read at all, but it is tons of fun!!! Plus, the book itself is gorgeous.

ju.ca.no Oh I got this way back in school, many years ago. It‘s absolutetly beautiful😍 6y
GingerAntics @ju.ca.no the series was recommended to me in grad school by another student. I got this and the handbook, but I‘m just reading it now, some three years later. I adore this book. It‘s awesome!!! I could definitely see sharing this with a kid. 6y
ju.ca.no @GingerAntics back then I even learned the dragon alphabet in the book by heart, but by now I‘ve forgotten it all. But I absolutely loved it as a child! I think I need to take a look at it again😍 6y

GingerAntics @ju.ca.no I was just thinking of doing that. I feel like it would be a weird, fun little trick. 😂 6y
ju.ca.no @GingerAntics I would‘ve loved to have someone to write secret notes in that language but my brother wasn‘t willig to learn it😂 6y
GingerAntics @ju.ca.no brother fail!!! I loved that there were things to read in the book with the language. It would be so much fun to be able to use it as a secret language. I totally would have done that!!! (edited) 6y
ju.ca.no @GingerAntics right?? I also thought about using it for cheating on tests but it was too much effort to write everything like that so I just never used it😂😂😂😂 6y
Rachel.Rencher Oh my gosh! I got really into these books when I was in elementary school, and over the years I accumulated all of the -ologys. They're so fun to look at. 😊 6y
GingerAntics @Rachel.Rencher there are more -ologies? I know there is a whole Dragonology series (sadly only two of them are on Apple Books so far), I didn‘t know it went beyond that. This series became a topic of discussion in one of my grad school classes. lol 6y
GingerAntics @ju.ca.no aww it would have been so much fun to use somewhere. I wish I had looked at this book when I was working on one of my last projects in grad school. I needed an alphabet and I found it very hard to invent my own. This would have been AWESOME!!! 6y
ju.ca.no @GingerAntics oh but awesome that you invented one on your own😍😍 6y
ju.ca.no @GingerAntics I just looked them up - there are plenty of other -ologies and I might have to buy them all😂😂😂 (edited) 6y
GingerAntics @ju.ca.no I sort of did/sort of didn‘t. It was easier to make different numbers so that was most of what I did. I‘m end, it looked really cool either way and my teacher didn‘t really care. 😂 I couldn‘t quite figure out making my own alphabet. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Oh well. @Rachel.Rencher just posted a picture with all the ologies and I clearly need these in my life. So adorable. These clearly make life happier. 6y
