pickI think the book is mistitled, but otherwise it's an interesting look at the birth of American forensic science. I found the cases, including the infamous Fatty Arbuckle trial, and the methodology far more interesting than the so-called American Sherlock, Oscar Heinrich. 3 💥💥💥 1/2

pickI really enjoyed this, more than any Anderson book in a long, long time. It reminded me a lot of Green's Nightside series, which is always a plus with me. Dan Chambeaux is a zombie PI dealing with ghouls, werewolves, vampires, ghosts and witches. It's all told in a fun, light hearted way.

pickThis was not what I was expecting. In 1345, a spaceship lands on Earth, meets a group of English warriors. It could have been a grim, bloody story, instead it's almost a comedy as the Englishmen use the ship to create a kingdom of man among the stars. It's short, 160 pages, but a fun read. 4 💥💥💥💥
