2 days off but one day late ~ all 3 books were borrowed from Michigan libraries. My boys loved the other books by Kate & Jim McMullan and this one about the Zamboni is just as fun. Hopefully the grandkids appreciate my extroverted reading style. 🤪
Happy release day for Betrothal or Breakaway, a best friends to lovers, single mom, marriage of convenience Hockey romance 🎉🏒💜
Loved it, review will follow!

My hold came in and I dropped all the other books I was reading and gobbled this one up. A delicious m/m romance full of all the feels and spice 🌶️. I‘m probably the only Canadian who doesn‘t watch hockey at all but I still enjoyed this sweet romance between the star player and the newbie goalie. It‘s fun that it‘s set in Calgary because I visit there every year. 👍👍💚🐉
Book 4 in the Hockey Ever after series delivers a lovely romance and lots hockey & hockey adjacent activity. I particularly enjoyed Dante‘s new position as the elder statesman of the team.
Check, Please! series by Ngozi Ukazu: Pie, Hockey, & allowing yourself to be who you are
The Raven Boys series by Maggie Stifevater
“Ronan Lynch—dreamer of dreams, fighter of men, skipper of classes.“
“This is what you get, Maura, for using your DNA to make a baby,”
“Adam was his son‘s friend, & so he had inherent worth.“
Frontier Magic series by Patricia C. Wrede: Eff learns her own magic & her own way & she is not cursed
Sadly, I haven‘t prioritized reading this year and this is my first read, yes, in March, but I hope the rut is now over. Decent, but nothing remarkable. 3.5 stars for this long but quick read.
I finished this a couple of weeks ago, almost forgot to post a review. Rachel Reid is the queen of the m/m hockey romance world. This one is very enjoyable, but not in the same league as her Game Changers series.
