This was a cute witchy romance!

The premise is super fun. It‘s about two witches who fall in love during a spell casting reality show competition. The competition parts were very entertaining to read.

The romance aspect worked very well. The two leads, Penelope and Gil, made a great couple. I loved their dynamic and their chemistry.

Such a fun paranormal romcom with a sunshiny protective vampire mmc and a grumpy human detective. The story was charming and filled with cuteness. The characters were undeniably loveable; I loved Zavier‘s endearing quirks and the characters‘ witty dialogue. It was a pleasure reading this. It was highly entertaining and fast paced.

I really enjoyed this book. The intense chemistry between Olivia and Colin was what was really engaging me into this book. I'm going to try not to spoil the whole book, but here's just a little hint: Olivia is Miss. Misdial and Colin is Mr. Wrong Number. They don't know that they're texting each other, and one thing leads to another. Highly recommend, if you need a good romance.

An interesting romance book concept. Nora owns a casket shop in a small town in Alabama. Garrett stumbles into her store asking for directions. Nora is suspicious when he starts showing up at places people have died. It appears Garrett works for death. Nora can‘t accept his job. A lot of grief, death and funeral talk in this book.

This is how I like my romances, light and sweet. Keep your dark, morally gray men and give me a good Golden Retriever male lead any day 😁. Cindy Steel is 2/2 for me. Faking Christmas wasn‘t life changing, but I sure remember feeling like I loved it while I was reading it. The cover had me a little worried, but Kiss Cam was feel good without the cheese.

Gemma writes a romance book and the book/cover resembles her ex high school boyfriend who is now a famous hockey player. They strike up a fake relationship for publicity, but is it really fake?

The tagged zombie #RomCom #audiobook has reached "cringe" level (words for private parts ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️). I think I'm going to bail.

The perfect #Sunday #Summer for me is reading in the shade with nonalcoholic beer and enjoying the summer weekend before going back to work. I'm listening to ocean waves asmr because children from the village are playing at our playground.
What is your perfect summer reading place?

@StayCurious

kspenmoll My perfect summer reading place in summer is my front porch! 3mo
maich @kspenmoll That's beautiful. In Europe, houses do not have a porch, they usually have a terrace at the back of the house. But I have always admired porches in movies and series. Especially in autumn and Christmas movies, when they are decorated nicely. ❤️❤️ 3mo
StayCurious What a nice post! I love reading outside when it‘s quiet and peaceful, like in a park or at a beach. This is rare because most often public places in Ottawa are packed 🙄 3mo

This was a sweet romance with a lot of heart.

The story is about Abbey, a plus sized architect turned baker, and her journey towards love and self acceptance. I loved that the book explored deeper topics like fat shaming and aging parents. Caring for an ailing parent is a very common thing these days, but I rarely see it depicted in books.

Finding Mr. Write | Kelley Armstrong

I listened to Armstrong‘s foray into writerly romance novels in the wrong order— this one actually came out last year, but after loving WRITING MR. WRONG, I couldn‘t resist using an Audible credit! Daphne submits her zombie YA novel under a male pseudonym & is shocked when her wildest dreams come true for her writing but she needs to hire an actor to be the face of Zane Remington. And Chris, though not actually an actor, steps in & sparks fly!

willaful Sounds like a hat tip to Remington Steele... 5mo
TorieStorieS @willaful I didn‘t even think of that! 😊 5mo
