This is #HoldsonLitsy 3 of 3. These were inspired by Litsy, I think. The Hold list is always kind of a game to me. If a Hold comes in today, will another one be ready soon? Do I wait to pick it up in case another one comes in tomorrow? How can I read these without running out of time? @steverogers

MallenNC @Marla That is very impressive. I did just pick up three books, but that doesn't make up the difference. 7y

Marla @MallenNC our library lets us put books on hold indefinitely which can be a bad thing as the list can get out of control. Upside is once you are ready for a book and make it active, you are probably first in the queue. 7y

MallenNC @Marla I don't think mine does that, but maybe. I need to mix in books that aren't so new/popular so I can renew them when the whole stack comes in at once. 7y

Marla @MallenNC you might want to ask if you can suspend holds. I didn't know our system did that last until I happened to have a conversation with a librarian. It had been implemented several months before that. 7y

MallenNC It does have that but I hadn't thought about how best to use that function. Good tip! 7y
