I loved this book. Zelda is a fantastic character. She‘s on the fetal alcohol syndrome chart and it has not slowed her down. She needs routine but learns to trust herself, she can‘t lie and when she is asked to lie she spills it anyway. And the big part of Zelda I love is her love of Vikings and how that love has made her strong. Great as an audiobook.

I loved this book just as much as the first one - Geekzilla. I listened to the book and was sucked so far into the storyline I listened to it within 24 hours. My daughter used to attend Comic-Con so I could relate to that part. Just a fun and entertaining book.

‘the sum total of who my uncle is,‘ Mary says, consists of ‘lies, misrepresentations, and fabrications.‘ He‘s ‘incapable of growing, learning, or evolving.” He lacks true competence, his ‘real skills” being “self-aggrandizement, lying, and sleight of hand.” His own sister, a former federal appellate judge, thinks of her brother as a ‘clown,” unsuited for office. This book really sheds light on why Donald acts and reacts the way he does.

This is one of my favorite mystery series. If you haven‘t picked it up then hurry up and do so. This is book four of the series and it‘s another great addition. I did not know who the murderer was until they were revealed. As always this was filled with humor and strong characters. I love how independent Veronica is for the time period. And I love her and Stoker together. I can‘t wait for the next installment.

I found this book very interesting. I learned a lot about some of the decisions that were made. I loved the part where he is in line at the cafeteria and a guy didn‘t recognize him. “Dude, I‘m the director of the FBI, you work for me” “You look a lot different than your photo on line”. I love that his wife laughed and said that should be said to you everyday.

I started the audiobook in the car to work. On the way home it hit track 9 disc 1 & said part 2. I said nope, can‘t do it, this has not grabbed my attention. Fastest time I have ever bailed on a book. Anyone else feel this way or did you love this? Under The Tuscan Sun is one of my favorite movies but I have never read the book.

Every Kristin Hannah book I read rips my heart open. This one is no exception. For the first time I listened to the audiobook, the narrator does a great job with capturing the characters & their emotions. I loved Large Marge. There was a spot I had to stop listening because I was heading into lunch with a friend & didn‘t want to ugly cry.

I‘ve been reading the different posts about this and how people thought it was bad. I didn‘t think it was too bad. I did wonder what the point of the story could be, there seemed to be a lot of things happening without purpose and I didn‘t really care about the characters. I don‘t know if I would pick up a book two. I feel like this was stretched out for a possible trilogy but I think with some work it could be a stand alone book.

This was a pretty good book as an audiobook. They used a cast of characters so the voices were age appropriate. I‘ve started the next book in the trio loft but I‘m disappointed that it‘s not a normal trilogy.

StephanieMarie @Marla @tpixie The other two are great too! Just think of them as separate novels that occur in the same universe, and good luck with the heartbreak of getting over Katsa and Po not being main characters anymore - that was the biggest downside for me 6y

Marla @ferskner it's become a slight process but worth it. I have to copy them to a folder on my desktop then upload them to our work Google drive then download them to my work computer and import them to my iTunes. When I'm done with tracks I delete them out of my iTunes. 7y

This book shows no matter what a family looks like on the outside, you don't know what is happening behind closed doors. Nina and her boys have to start over with nothing after her husband Finn dies and leaves an $8 million pound debt. She has no job experience but determination. This book really shows how to no matter how bad things are you can survive. Beautiful writing, I shed several tears.

This is such a sad tragedy. To lose your 8-year-old while on vacation while rafting & later finding out it could have been prevented if the rafting company cared more about safety than profit is heartbreaking. This family learned how to go forward & live without their son in the physical world when tragedy can pull a family apart. This made me tell my daughter not to go rafting on vacation & makes me think of my cousin's rafting business. #24in48

heyitsMacall This is terrible 😳 7y
Jinjer So sad. We've had 3 children drown in our local river already this season. In two of the cases none of the adults had an eye on the child. Don't know the details of the most recent one yet. Please make your kids wear life jackets near rivers, lakes, etc. 😢 7y
Marla @Jinjer that is horrible! Water can be a scary thing. I always have a fear of drowning as I almost did when I was 11. Now as an adult I can't snorkel, it causes me to panic. 7y
