#mmd summer reading guide 2019 ❤ going to have to try afew of these 📚

MelissaSue81 I have read a few!
The River - Not my usual genre, but a good fast read
Maybe You Should Talk to Someone - Good, interesting, not earth shattering.
Ask Again, Yes - One of my favorites of the year
Searching for Sylvie Lee - Started so good, ended so bad
Recursion - again not at all my usual genre, but it was hard to put down!
Daisy Jones - Pretty good, I think its over hyped.

I am picking up The Mother-in-law from the library today

1) it's always y'all!
2) definitely just 2 syllables
3) Kindle, Audible, Goodreads, Libby, Litsy, SerialReader, & Overdrive
4) Cleaning my house. We had a birthday party & then new carpet put in. There are things everywhere. ??
5) @Whimsical.Curiosity what's your Friday look like? Have you stopped saying "y'all" yet? ?

Thanks for the fun @jesshowbooks

julesG Two syllables? Like Carmel? 6y
WhatThePuck @julesG it's Kentucky. More like Car-mull. 🤣🤣 I used to fight the accent. Now I don't. 6y
julesG Makes my hair stand on end. 6y

WhatThePuck @julesG Then you'd hate to hear how we pronounce our city. 🤷😂😂😂 6y
julesG You're butchering the English language. 😉 (and I sound like a stuck up British arse, sometimes) 😁😁 6y
WhatThePuck @julesG it's such a big deal around here we even do news segments on it. Hahaha. Check out the YouTube link below. https://youtu.be/1sugAurdJ3g 6y
britt_brooke @WhatThePuck What part of KY are you from? I‘m from Paducah, but now live in TN. 6y
WhatThePuck @britt_brooke I'm in Louisville. 6y
julesG That's funny. Now I'm confused, would Loo-ee-ville be okay? Definitely without S, so I'd go for the French pronunciation of Louis plus Ville. Gosh, saying it to myself right now it sounds very French 6y
WhatThePuck Well we were named for King Louis, but so was St. Louis and they pronounce the S. Demographically we have a very large German heritage population. If you're local, you would normally pronounce it Loo-uh-vull. 6y
WhatThePuck @julesG sorry, forgot to tag you. Lol. 6y
Whimsical.Curiosity @WhatThePuck well, it started with a judgy obgyn. Now I'm drinking coffee until it's suitable to drink stronger 🤣🍷 6y
WhatThePuck @Whimsical.Curiosity 🤣🤣🤣 6y
RadicalReader @WhatThePuck I too am extremely partial and fond of the ever amazing y‘all just so fitting and fun 6y

Who remembers making book covers out of paper bags? I had to make a potions book for my Apothecary shop for Trunk r Treat at my daughters school tomorrow night. And of course I had to make the cover look dirty and old. #lol #ImGettingOld #TheGoodOldDays #UncannyOctober

britt_brooke Love it! 7y
kspenmoll Nice work!! 7y
Blaire I totally remember doing that in junior high and then at one point you could buy cute patterned ones - that were still essentially paper bags. 7y
Wife I used to love ❤️ making covers for my textbooks 📚! 7y
