And it's only September! Thanks @WhatThePuck for showing me ❤📚👶
I set a modest goal considering pregnancy and then motherhood. Having a baby with sleep trouble really makes for a lot of time trapped under Ellie with my kindle.

Having a newborn has made getting anything done practically impossible and with the recent discovery of reflux I've given up on anything other than survival and snuggles. In the wee hours of the night while I hold her up for 30 minutes after every nurse, I manage to get in a tiny bit of one handed entertainment. Thank goodness for the libby app and my local libraries.
This book is enthralling. I absolutely love a fantastical story and this one brings your imagination to life. It awakens a childlike wonder and stirs a comradery in you like no other. Go Zel go! I cant wait to see how it ends. And I really hope they do it justice in the movie.
👉 Name your favorite book to movie/tv read.
👉 Name a new or semi new release movie/tv series that you read the book first and loved/hated the adaptation. Why?
All the dinosaurs and all the stars.
Easily my favorite read of the year. An intricate telling of the inner workings of a diamond platinum band coming up in the seventies.
And it's going to be made into a TV series!
"And, baby, when you think of me,
I hope it ruins rock ‘n‘ roll"
Five dinos for this one. Solidly written plot. So many twists you dont see coming. A very relatable main character. I did several double takes as the story unfolded. One of the twists actually had me reaching out to friends who've read the book so I could be like UM I HAVE QUESTIONS. I would definitely recommend!
Found out today that I'll be induced 3 weeks early!! Trying to pysch myself up because HOLY CRAP.
Not the doctor appointment I was expecting but I guess we're gonna meet our little girl sooner than we thought!! 🤰🤱
There's no love, Like your love.
Only one other, Could give more love.
There's no Oscar, Unless you're watching.
All the time, All the way, yeah.
Oh you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it, there's nothin' I want more
Yeah, I would stage a marriage for you, I'd lie for you
Write a book for you. Yeah, I'd chip a tooth for youuuu.
Got myself a fancy library card and a new app named Libby. I am more excited than if my birthday were tomorrow!! Give me all the books!!
First up: Yes Please
Third: Whiskey in a Tea Cup
Netflix has a special out called Historical Roasts and it's actually really funny and well done. Having read Anne Frank and visited her home in Amsterdam I couldn't pass this up. I was nervous but Gilbert Godfrey as Hitler was hysterical along with everyone roasting him.
Sorry if any offense!
Oh Anthony ❤️
Saw this article and thought it was so friggin cool. A floating library on a boat? Yes please!
Come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with me!!
It's been a loooooooong time since a book made me cry. And for that I recommend it. If I can be emotionally compromised by an authors words then they deserve a solid review! It's a bit predictable but worth the read. There are some twists that you won't see coming that add suspense and mystery. The end will rip your heart out. 😭 #charrot
Started this one last night and I'm halfway through! I bought it so long ago that I had no idea what I was getting into but so far so good. A little predictable but everybody's got a secret and the writer has you wanting to know them all!
Although Koontz can get carried away with descriptions, I can definitely confirm that this book lived up to the title. I doubt it could've been achieved with anything less than what Koontz described so I won't hold it against him. I do wish there had been more to Vess but overall a good book.
🦄🦄🦄🦄 4 unicorns.
Apply to be an influencer with One Upon A Book Club. You'll get a free box! I subscribed to them for 2 months and did the advent calender and it was so much fun! The gifts you discover through reading the book really give the experience magic and whimsy.
Anyone watched this? I'm halfway through with the book but I LOVE seeing a movie or series after. I did hear there was a blatant theft of concept for a movie called High Tension. May have to watch both.
🦖 Big Little Lies. We tried a book group. Lasted one month 🤣
🦖🦖 Dave Pelzer has published several memoirs that are all categorized under self help. Triggering subject matter but an amazing and powerful story well written.
🦖🦖🦖 The Lost Boy.
🦖🦖🦖🦖 I'm baaaaad about getting bored with a book, even if it's good. I'm still on vacation from books in college 😂
🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖 Been awhile but @WhatThePuck @laur89 @Sargar114
Finally ripping off the bandaid and giving this a go. I've been avoiding it and reading smaller novels because my last Koontz took me awhiiiiiiiile. #Phantoms Fingers crossed I finish this before the little one arrives 👶
🎶🎶She should have confessed her love for him, she should have learned this early. If she'd had known for just one second how amazing he would be! Go on now, go, walk out the door! Just do a twirl now. Cause she's not suffering anymore! Weren't you the one who tried to kill her and Marianne that night? Do you think she'd crumble? Well Mummy, turns out you died! Oh no, not Eleanor, She will survive! 🎶🎶 Part 2 of 2
🎶🎶 At first she was afraid, she was burned alive.
Kept thinking she could never live without Mummy's guide. But then she spent so many nights drinking vodka until dawn. And then met Raymond. And learned how to get along. And now she's back! To her work space. She just walked in to find her out her coworkers are no longer two faced. 🎶🎶 Part 1 of 2.
Happy Mothers Day! It's Wicked time 🧙♀️
I mean, you had me at Eleanor since that's what we're naming our little girl when she arrives on 8/4!!
@Meaw_catlady thanks for the fun giveaway!! And the awesome Eleanor in my scroll feed ❤️
1. I would definitely miss Gizmo my orange tabby bff.
2. Start traveling earlier and study abroad.
3. I love that although I'm 36, my husband and I decided to add a little one to our family. #geriatricpreggo
Won free tickets from our local bookstore @TatteredCoverBookStore to see David live!! No photos during the show but they were great seats! Gotta love that dry sense of humor.
Picked this little gem up while on a trip to Chicago. I love finding tiny little cozy bookstores in other cities. Finally getting around to reading it! 6 chapters in and I am invested. I have so many questions and I can't wait to uncover the answers. I've heard so many positive thoughts on this book.
This book was the worst. Maybe I'm hormonal and pregnant but that makes me the target audience right? Soooooo judgy at a time in a woman's life when the last thing she needs is judgement. Not a book I will pass on.
No, I don't want no judgment
This book is a book that can't get no love from me
Hangin' off the top shelf side
Of it's judgy nosedive
Trying to throw shame at me.

I heard she painted a good pic, I heard she had a style. And so I came to see her, to try and talk for a while. And there she was, this young girl, a stranger to my eyes?
Painting her pain with her brushes,
Stealing her life with his pain,
Killing him softly with his gun
Killing him softly, with no woooords.

Hey Litsy Loves! My lady friend just self published her very first book @DatingOnTheNerdySide
I requested it be added to the shelves so I can tag it properly. If you're into romance and nerds please show her some litsy love. You could be her very first review! She's a remarkable woman and I have the highest hopes for her as an author. I'll update once I'm finished reading it as well. Give her a follow too, shes friggin hilarious @LSTabak xoxo!!
1. I'm not allowed to buy anymore books. Not for myself, not for my husband, not for our soon to be baby girl. There's no more space. New law: read, donate and THEN restock.
2. I'm not allowed to go anywhere highly populated because germs are rude and being pregnant AND sick is the worst.

These are a few of my favorite things 💕
So far I'm at least intrigued by this book. The writing style is a bit fun but hard to follow. It's definitely overly descriptive like Cormac McCarthy which I struggle with. Just tell me the dang house is blue. However the subject matter keeps you hooked.
Tom Bombadil is my favorite merry old soul with no cares and full of Whimsy. He was also the most powerful character in all of Tolkiens worlds. I feel like he would've been a natural in Wonderland.
Oh Disney, how I love to be in thee 💕
🐭 Steamboat Willy
🐭🐭 Belle with the accompanying library
🐭🐭🐭 Cruella de Vil
🐭🐭🐭🐭 Cheshire Cat
🐭🐭🐭🐭🐭 Disney bought the land for Disney World under an alias to get a deal.
I've never participated in a #photochallenge before and since Alice in Wonderland is my all time #literaryfave I couldn't resist! 🐇❤️🐛👑
@laur89 & @WhatThePuck join me!!
This is a novel that is so far fetched that it can be very hard to believe and follow. That said, you really connect with some of the characters like Oly and Chick. Or at least worry for them. It's hard to really describe but if you take the Isle of Misfit toys and give them a manipulative leader and a reality TV show then you're almost there.
@leslieseidel it will be coming your way soon!
