After reviewing the abysmal “Heroes for Hire” book from the ‘90s, it is a relief to read a proper take on these characters. Dealing with street level crime and their own personal issues is the way to go. Enjoyable and easy to follow with stakes that are meaningful. Well done!

Of the Marvel characters I've read about so far, I think Iron Fist is my least favorite. Some of the secondary characters are pretty cool (Pei obviously being the best), but Danny Rand himself is kind of boring. His backstory doesn't really bring anything new into the world of "superhero with tragic childhood" and he spent more of this graphic novel losing his power than using it to fight.
It is one of those days at work when you have to take a snack and comic break so that you don't go crazy. Power Man and Iron Fist are one of the great buddy super hero teams. This was a fun read. What was supposed to be a simple good deed for an old friend gets way out of hand, and all kinds of craziness ensues. The Heros for hire are back together, and better than ever. Sweet Christmas!
Way better than the show, but also 100% different direction. Loved that Luke & Jessica are married in this one 😍 Also, Iron Fist isn't as terrible as his Netflix show led me to believe! Will pick up next volume if I see it!
I really enjoyed this re-read of Immortal Iron Fist. You get some great Iron Fist back story mixed in with the tournament, and a solid Hydra subplot. He was always a B grade Marvel character until this series came out. Fraction and Brubaker at their best here. #comicthon. @xicanti
I'm starting #comicthon off with an intradimensiomal kung fu tournament for the ages! Will the Immortal Iron Fist be victorious, or will the other Immortal weapons be his downfall? I loved this series. Fraction and Brubaker really breathed new life into this character. @xicanti
I love this storyline! Orson Randle, the old Iron Fist from WW1 is one of my favorite side characters. He can focus his chi into his guns and bullets! Take that Hydra! This was the reboot of the Iron Fist character, and a great starting point for anyone who would be interested in reading Iron Fist comics. You start to get some cool flashbacks of other Iron Fists throughout history. #letsgetgraphicweeklongmarathon @TricksyTails @Clwojick
It is time for my #letsgetgraphicweeklongmarathon to continue! I'm going to re-read my favorite Iron Fist storyline. Brubaker did a great job on this comic. Then I have Nimona and Low vol 1. And I'll be enjoying this Founders breakfast stout! @TricksyTails @Clwojick
