I‘ve been missing some days. My Mom is in hospice and isn‘t doing well.
This morning I thought of the word “matriarch” and how in the best sense she is that. And now she‘s passing it to me. It breaks my heart but gives me a special purpose in my family (I‘m not married and I don‘t have kids—but I *am* the cool aunt 😊)

I‘ve been looking for a new, light audiobook to listen alongside Just Mercy. I‘m looking forward to this one.
I didn‘t watch this series. I‘m hoping the audiobook will live up to the rave reviews of the miniseries!
