mcctrish @TheBookHippie I‘m in a mood - I made a tomato tart for husband and kid, even though I went out to bookclub and wasn‘t eating at home - I asked how the tart was ( a new recipe) husband “it was okay” #heisdeadtome kid “it was delicious” he shall live to see another day 1w

Prairiegirl_reading A couple years ago I was listening to Stanley Tucci‘s memoir and he was talking about his little Italian grandmother who used to respond to this question with “cazzi e patate” which translates to dicks and potatoes. I nearly drove off the road. I played this for my husband when I got home and he never asked again. 🤣🤣 1w

peaKnit I too hate the question…what‘s for dinner? I keep a running recipe note in my phone of things we‘ve liked - if I feel up to the task. I want cereal for dinner to be a thing, my husband hates the idea 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣 1w
