I love this #WDNCW. @dabbe I don't care about the Menonite vendor who refused to sell me strawberries before the market opened because she didn't want to not have any before opening time. Meanwhile, I'm also a vendor and needed to be at my booth at opening time. So I bought strawberries at another place on the way home that were nicer. Some people really irk me. 😊

Because I was having a low energy day I did not care that I put off all the phone calls and emails that would require an appointment or a follow up ! All I wanted to do was go to the New B&N opening up , it was great a many people showed up ! Grabbed some groceries and read . Sometimes you gotta take a break!

* when the nurse commented on how great our blood pressure always is we looked her in the eye and said, “It‘s the No F_____ to Give mentality!”
Maybe I‘ll care tomorrow about my weight, age, & that I‘m not quite so energetic anymore. But not today. Yesterday in NC and today in the airport on the way home I discovered this: “women of a certain age” (credit @IriDas for the quote) and of a certain size—oh my gosh we can spot each other a mile away and immediately bond!! We‘d just start chatting, or at least smiling and nodding sympathetically, like long lost friends. No judgment!! #wdncw

We do not care that we are a middle-aged woman running around in bike shorts. It is literally 100 degrees, and cellulite is not contagious.
We do not care that the older we get the more we fucking swear like we are starring in a Quentin Tarantino film.
We do not care that we went to a bookstore & lunch in shorts with unshaven, hairy legs. But as @Amiable said “as woman of a certain age we are basically invisible.”
We do not care that our one air conditioned room is now full of STUFF after camping out in it for 3 days.
