#lifeinshanghai is composed of long, exhausting days & busy weekends. My work-life balance has been severally compromised since moving here &, even before now, adjusting to this new life has been hard. I‘m struggling to see the positives now that my family & I are #stuckinshanghai but trying to focus on books, challenges & journaling, hobbies that help me grow but which have been too long neglected. #soberinshanghai #currentlyreading #readinggoals

Funnily enough, since moving to Shanghai I‘d been drinking less but I also feel I‘m in overlapping cultures (China, foreigners) that have socialization foundations grounded even MORE in drinking. And that‘s obviously only heightened since #startingsober
