Taking a break from the hard hitting Maslin memoir, to enjoy listening to the first Octavia Butler novel I ever read. My first time round I read on ebook, this time on audio. Quite enjoying the audio, although if I was not already familiar with the plot and names, it might be a bit tough to keep straight #octaviabutler #dawn #xenogenesis #lilithsbrood

CuriousG @shybookowl It was definitely interesting getting to hear how the names were pronounced, but I feel like the narrator was guessing a bit too. I would have had difficulty with this book on audio if I hadn't physically read it years ago. 6y
