The Take Down | Corrie Lynn Wang
post image

Day 6 of the #lyricallybookishjuly is "'Pictures of You' book cover with pictures or pictures in the book" I chose The Takedown by Connie Wang. It doesn't come out as good as I wanted, but the cover is so cool, as it's a photo mosaic and so the picture of the girl is made up of tiny other pictures. I always love these types of pictures. #PhotoInception

Day 3 of the #lyricallybookishjuly "'A Man Alone' books with male on the cover or male as main character". For this I chose Cuckoo's Calling and The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith aka JK Rowling This series (3rd book, Career of Evil, not pictured) features Detective Cormoran Strike and his lovable assistant, Robin, as they solve various intricate and intriguing crimes in London. Definitely check them out if you are a mystery or crime fiction lover!

Day 2 of the #lyricallybookishjuly and this is the "'Just Can't Stop'- book you couldn't put down" challenge. I chose "The Wrath and the Dawn" by Renee Ahdieh. Her writing so is beautiful it becomes lyrical, and her storytelling completely envelops you.She writes those sentences that make you take a moment and just dwell on what you just read, those type of sentences that become tattoos, because they are just that beautiful and profound.
