Finally catching up to reflect on the #BetsyTacyConvention! *Seven years* after committing to do the thing and being thwarted by the pandemic, it was a joy to finally make it happen. 200 fans converged on Deep Valley to see the houses, walk through Emily's slough, visit Lincoln Park, and connect with new and old friends. I'm so grateful and so tired and most of all, so thankful for Maud's writing and the gift of these beautiful stories. ❤️

Hello from Deep Valley and Betsy Ray's house! Planning for the #BetsyTacyConvention has kicked into overdrive and your fearless committee has gathered in Mankato to finalize some details for our event this fall. Having attended multiple conventions in the past, I can't stress how incredible it is to be in these spaces and see the real-life inspiration for some of my favorite books. Will I see you in October? I keep an eye out for early editions of Maud Hart Lovelace's books in every used bookstore I go to. I've never been lucky enough to catch one in the wild until this past week!
