LeahBergen It was SO much fun. There was a terrifying moment when I discovered the house museums would be closed on the weekend I was there but I contacted them and ended up getting a private tour (with some other people who showed up, too). Phew! And I also managed to do some damage in the little gift shop. 😆😆 1w

I keep an eye out for early editions of Maud Hart Lovelace's books in every used bookstore I go to. I've never been lucky enough to catch one in the wild until this past week! #SummerSouls When I think Picnic, my mind always goes to Betsy and Tacy. Their tradition of picnics started on the bench by Author Maud Hart Lovelace's house. I was thrilled to get to visit on a warm summers day in 2016. 😎

Big into rereads and comfort reads right now. Just revisited this delight and wish ALL the Betsy-Tacy books were available on audio. (They're not.)
