I remember Calling All Girls!/Young Miss—it‘ll be so much fun to read one again. The vintage ballet book is adorable, and this is a BLWW I‘ve been wanting to read.

❤️ the goodies in the Betsy-Tacy pencil pouch! The Deep Valley card is absolutely frameable. I hope Nicky & Sadie don‘t get any ideas about cooking from the other cute card. 😹

(So pleased to have a Handheld Books edition as I eyed them for years but never purchased one!) Love the card, the post card, the bookmark, the whole kit'n'caboodle. ☺️ And curious if you would recommend visiting Mankato?

LeahBergen It was SO much fun. There was a terrifying moment when I discovered the house museums would be closed on the weekend I was there but I contacted them and ended up getting a private tour (with some other people who showed up, too). Phew! And I also managed to do some damage in the little gift shop. 😆😆 1mo

I keep an eye out for early editions of Maud Hart Lovelace's books in every used bookstore I go to. I've never been lucky enough to catch one in the wild until this past week! #SummerSouls When I think Picnic, my mind always goes to Betsy and Tacy. Their tradition of picnics started on the bench by Author Maud Hart Lovelace's house. I was thrilled to get to visit on a warm summers day in 2016. 😎
