pickWhat a great story. To me Allende‘s works usually cross many lines and I can‘t really identify which genre they pertain to. This one is a mix of a cozy mystery, romance, supernatural, and contemporary fiction that talks about the reality of life and blows it deals different people, along with the hard and sad truth of illegal immigration and the broken immigration system in the USA.
