Reading in all the places today…
so-so5-25-24: My 14th finished book of 2024! I finished this at my daughter‘s house laying next to my 3 month old granddaughter and it was creepy to say the least. Don‘t read it while pregnant. Actress Anna Alcott is going through IVF with her husband Dex when things become weird. Anna can‘t trust anyone, her agent, her best friend or her doctor. Everyone wants a piece of her. There might even be a cult involved. Anna just wants her baby to be safe.
5-22-24: My new outdoor reading nook. My husband set it up for me on Mother‘s Day but today was the first day I could try it out and it was glorious. Reading outside is my favorite, preferably the beach, but this is perfect, as well. I‘m so glad my husband gets me. 📖💖😍
pickI‘m slowly going through and savoring Katherine Center‘s back-category and loving everyone one. This one was such a sweet story of Jenny dealing with becoming a new parent when her unreliable fiancé leaves her the day before her baby is born.
I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!). Feel free to join in!

Emmitouflé dans une couverture lors d'une journée froide et pluvieuse, la lecture d' Écumes à stimulé mon sens du toucher à travers la sensation chaleureuse du tissu doux et réconfortant de la couverture et mon sens de l'ouïe avec le son apaisant de la pluie que j'entendais.
pickShep is everything and oh my gosh where can I find one?! Nurse Louise was a total gem. Eve was so lucky to be surrounded by such great people during a time when life is really stressful. Book #35 in 2024

Ready or Not was my favorite read of the month. I'm having trouble comparing it to Witch King though, they are such a different vibe... Will report back later
pickI absolutely adored this book! Bastone has become an auto-read author for me. She writes such beautifully crafted characters. I loved witnessing Eve grow into herself and figure out what she wants out of life after her unplanned pregnancy news. Her relationships with her close friends and family are all affected by this life development in unexpected ways 💕
