This story talks about the election process from the campaign to accepting the job, or how to lose gracefully. This would work greatly in a classroom during a president unit!
This is a wonderful book to help explain the election process to young children. It explains this process in a fun age appropriate way. Very inspiring to teach children to set big goals and dream big!
Hoping to qualify for early sign ups for #AuldLangSpine, formerly NYWD with @monalyisha ! Here‘s my pen from voting Tuesday in NYC and a vaguely relevant book haha, thanks!! Love this opportunity to swap favorite book lists from the past calendar year :)
Super cute book that teaches acceptance! Loved this read!
I can't read this article about Kate Warne without a subscription to the Washington Post. But, this book is a beautifully rendered fictionalized account of her early life as the first female Pinkerton detective. Very little is actually known about Warne, so Macallister imagines the kind of woman she must have been in order to do what we know she did. #LovePrevails #PresidentsDay #Lincoln @Eggs Written by #litsyauthor @theladygreer

#LovePrevails Day 12: #LincolnBday - It was lovely knowing more about Lincoln through this PBB – his humble beginnings, the fact that he towered over practically all of his classmates while he was growing up, and his unapologetic love for books, notwithstanding its apparent unpopularity among people who failed to understand his literary predilections.
