One of the reasons I love R.A. Salvatore‘s books are that they don‘t end how you think there going to … this gave all of the great expectations of his books. Adventure, intrigue, great characters, storylines, and best character contemplation regarding his/her situation. This is a definite read and I will be reading the next in the short series. 📖🤗👍🏼
Starting this series… I really enjoy R. A. Salvatore‘s books
One of the first books this year that I didn't love at first but was well worth finishing. I'm actually invested and while I'm only planning on reading the Transitions trilogy for now, I think I might check some earlier Drizzt novels eventually.
Timeless kicks off the Generations trilogy (books 34-36 in the larger Drizzt saga). I enjoyed it a lot because the contrasting world views of Drizzt, Jarlaxle, and Zaknafein make for interesting ethical debates, which Salvatore loves to interweave with the fierce action scenes. You don't need to have read the previous 33 books to follow this one, but I'd recommend Homeland and The Pirate King.
This is a Grimdark Fantasy #NSR221 @Nessavamusic I absolutely love this series. LOVE ❤ the sword fight. Did I mention the sword fights. The Author really knows how to do battles, and the reader does not get lost. The characters are great, I would have any of them as a protector if I ever needed them.
Timeless operates in two timelines--Zaknafein's past adventures with Jarlaxle and his post-resurrection reunion with his son Drizzt and his companions. I haven't read all of the Drizzt novels and I'm following it pretty well. If you ever wondered why Jarlaxle is bald, the story is here!
R.A. Salvatore is a genius in my book. His detailed writing of combat scenes is something I aspire to. Book 8 in the series did not disappoint. It was jam-packed with suspenseful scenes, funny moments, and intriguing characters and world-building. And through it all, Salvatore nurtured that connection between the extremely likable characters. I couldn‘t put it down, and I can‘t wait to see where Drizzt and his friends go next.
