I had high hope for this book and I was disappointed with how much of it was commentary. I appreciated learning about historical significance of redheads and how gendered people‘s concepts of redheads are. The author does state that her book is focused on Europe, as the USA has other (racial) issues & prejudices that make it unique and outside her experience as a European.
2/5 stars read for a well written semi-history with lots of commentary
Rating: 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you to my book club friend Amanda Herrera for gifting me this book for my birthday last year. This was my first time reading a book/series by Sabrina Jeffries so i wasnt sure what to expect but instantly i enjoyed it since it reminded me alot of Bridgerton Series and Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The Characters were very enjoyable and entertaining to read about. Diana and Verity Harper were definately my favorites.

From the beloved New York Times bestselling author comes a dazzling new series perfect for fans of Bridgerton, featuring a talk-of-the-ton trio of young women who‘ve eschewed working as governesses to utilize their talents for fashion, food, and music, by running their own party planning enterprise, Elegant Occasions.
❤️❤️❤️ February TBR ❤️❤️❤️
I realized as I read the first quarter of this, I am positive I have already read it and liked it. A fun, charming historical romance. 4⭐️

This book has my heart…….. “I love you more than I‘ve loved anything or anyone in my entire life, Annie Huxley.” That purely stole her breath. She didn‘t dare look at him. Rather, she stood there with heated shivers running through her veins in wee, sparkling streams. “And, I suspect, were I ever granted another life and another and another—a thousand lifetimes in a thousand different places—I should still say the same.”
If Sebastian St. Vincent and West Ravenel had a baby, his name would be Benedict Chatham, and that should tell you all you need to know about this book before you devour it whole and are still hungry for more, because there‘s just no way to get enough of this kind of histrom hero (I make zero apologies for that run-on sentence).
Thank you to @gigireadsromance and @nadiaandstepbacks for introducing me to Benny and his floral-flask carrying ways.🤍
