so-soI had high hope for this book and I was disappointed with how much of it was commentary. I appreciated learning about historical significance of redheads and how gendered people‘s concepts of redheads are. The author does state that her book is focused on Europe, as the USA has other (racial) issues & prejudices that make it unique and outside her experience as a European.
2/5 stars read for a well written semi-history with lots of commentary

Thank you to my book club friend Amanda Herrera for gifting me this book for my birthday last year. This was my first time reading a book/series by Sabrina Jeffries so i wasnt sure what to expect but instantly i enjoyed it since it reminded me alot of Bridgerton Series and Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The Characters were very enjoyable and entertaining to read about. Diana and Verity Harper were definately my favorites.

pickIf Sebastian St. Vincent and West Ravenel had a baby, his name would be Benedict Chatham, and that should tell you all you need to know about this book before you devour it whole and are still hungry for more, because there‘s just no way to get enough of this kind of histrom hero (I make zero apologies for that run-on sentence).
